On the Midterm

You might remember that we have a midterm coming up. It is
a take home exam that will be available by 9:30 am on Friday
(3/8) morning and is due back in class on Monday (3/11).
The exam has 5 problems, each weighted equally. Each problem
covers a particular topic we have studied, as given below.

Problem 1: On 2-dimensional convex hulls

Problem 3. On lower bounds techniques

Problem 4. On properties of Voronoi diagrams

Problem 5. On algorithms for contructing Voronoi diagrams

There is no need to prepare specifically for the exam. Since
it is a take-home, you will have the time to look up whatever
you need. At least 3 problems will be very easy - easier than
anything you might have seen on the homeworks. These problems
might simply involve tracing an algorithm we have studied, for
example.
