I am a Ph.D.
candidate and Research Assistant at the Department of
Computer Science in the
University of Iowa. From Fall 2003 to Spring 2007 I have
worked as a
Graduate Teaching Assistant for the same department.
My research interests are Algorithms and Distributed
Computing. My dissertation work focuses on designing distributed
approximation algorithms for various topology control, clustering and
optimization problems that arise in large, often dynamic, but severely resource
constrained networks, e.g. wireless ad-hoc networks or sensor networks.
My doctoral advisor is
Dr. Sriram Pemmaraju.
