ABOUT ME
I am a doctoral student at the Department of Computer Science of The University of Iowa. It is my first year here. I am a transfer student from Kansas State University where I was with the Department of Computing and Information Sciences(CIS). I had been a Graduate Teaching Assitant there from Fall 2008 till Spring 2009.
Research Interest
At Kansas State University I was a member of the Machine Learning and Bioinformatics Group and primarily interested in Bioinformatics problems. Here I want to work in informatics broadly, including but not limited to health informatics, computational epidemiology, data mining and I am still exploring my interests and options.
