Ryan Kopf

University of Iowa

Hello, my name is Ryan Kopf, and I am the Sun Campus Ambassador for the University of Iowa. I am also the Associations Director for Associated Residence Halls, and an Executive Board Member for the Mindbridge Foundation. I try to be a valuable resource to my community and those around me. I am running the University of Iowa Student Government with the L grassroots movement.

Open Source Software

As Sun Campus Ambassador, I get a lot of experience with Open Source software. Some great Open Source projects that I have experience with include OpenOffice, The GIMP, Ubuntu, OpenSolaris, VirtualBox, Ruby on Rails and Java.

Associated Residence Halls

As Associations Director for ARH, I have the opportunity to advocate for students in the Residence Halls at the University of Iowa. It's a great chance to spend my time working to make a positive impact.

Mindbridge Foundation

As an Executive Board Member of the Mindbridge Foundation, I work hard to manage the day to day operations of a massive organization. We organize three large conventions each year, with total annual reciepts well over $100,000. I am working to develop a new database management system, and coordinate improved long-term investment.
