There will be three exams for the course. The first two exams will cover approximately 1/3 of the course content. The last exam will be comprehensive. However, greater emphasis will be placed on the last 1/3 of the course.
Students are permitted to bring one 8.5 by 11 inch "cheat sheet" to the exam. This sheet is the only material to be used during the exams. Both sides of the sheet can be used for definitions, solutions to problems from the homework, notes on problem solving strategies, or any other information that might be helpful during the exam.
First Exam: 4:30 p.m., Wednesday, October 2.
Second Exam: 4:30 p.m., Wednesday November 6.
Last Examination: 9:45-11:45 a.m., Tuesday, December 17 in room 110 MLH
