As number of freeriders increase (using this exploit) performance for normal users degrades.  Overall, using this exploit improved dl speed.

Easy to create new ID if blocked for not sharing.  Could block IP ranges but might have to block entire NAT, how likely is that to happen?

Clients exist that artificially boost upload...

Does it matter?  
-Freeloaders still boost your own upload
-If too many people are freeloading, tend to cluster and only deal with good clients

Seeds more important than leechers...

From seeders perspective:
-Willing to create a file
-Willing to stay online for a certain amount of time (but bounded)

What is the optimal method of sharing from the seeders perspective?
Merge seed and tracker so that seed can ensure better file connectivity, increase chance of being able to grab the entire file.

Why do people originally seed?
Psychological rather than technological?
