Call for Participation:

• Paper submission deadline is October 8th, 2007.
• Submissions may be an abstract, an extended abstract, a partially completed paper, or a full paper.
• Submissions will be made via e-mail, and should contain:
  • Title
  • Authors
  • Abstract, Extended Abstract or Paper (as a PDF)
  • (Optional) Supplemental video or images (Please use MPEG, DivX, JPG, or PDF)
  • (Optional) Reviewer guidance (i.e., where reviewers should focus feedback)
  • (Optional) Preferred presentation type (see below)
  • (Optional) Available presentation times (e.g., if you plan to arrive after 8am Saturday or leave before Sunday at noon).
• Presentation types:
  • "Long" presentation:
    • Ideally represents at least 1/3 of a written paper, with some preliminary results.
    • 20 minute talk (strictly enforced)
    • 10 minute questions
  • "Short" presentation:
    • Ideally represents ideas for papers-to-be, discussions of open problems, etc.
    • 10 minute talk (strictly enforced)
    • 10 minutes for questions
  • Depending on scheduling limitations (e.g., too many or too few submissions), we may schedule you for a shorter or longer period. Please check the conference schedule when it is posted.
  
  
• Submission Instructions:
  • Email your submission to cwyman (at) cs.uiowa.edu
  • In the text part of the message, include:
    • The authors' names and the title of your submission.
    • Optionally include reviewer guidance, preferred presentation type (long or short), and any limitations on availability for presentations.
    • Attach a PDF of the abstract, extended abstract, or paper. This may be anonymous.
    • Attach supplementary videos and/or images.
  • Expect to review two (2) submissions from fellow attendees.
