• Writing assignment: write one-half to one page on your thoughts about the reading.
  
  Note: Although this is the article that Prof. Gilotti sent for you to read, it might not be the topic she'll actually talk about. My sense is that she's going to talk about Arctic Geology. In any case, I hope the article is interesting.
