During the 32 years that I spent in Computer Science at The University of Iowa, between 1970 and 2002, my research focused on human information processing. I studied a variety of topics, including human memory, natural language processing, human vision, visual imagery, and human control of movement. I published many of the results of my investigations in The Cerebral Computer, published by Lawrence Erlbaum Associated, Inc. in 1987. I now enjoy photography and periodically show recent pictures here.
