How To Apply

Admission to The University of Iowa is required prior to becoming an undergraduate or graduate student in the Computer Science Department. For admission information, please see the University of Iowa's Admissions page. This page also includes information for undergraduate, graduate and professional, transfer, and international students, as well as financial aid information.

Please note that the Computer Science Department's deadline for graduate admission is February 1 for Fall admission. We do not accept applications for Spring admission, but may consider it for special circumstances. Applicants needing spring admission should inquire directly to the Director of Graduate Programs, Professor Alberto Segre.
