Grades: There will be approximately 6 homeworks and 4 programming assignments, 3 (1/2 hour) quizzes,
1 one comprehensive final exam.
  This course uses  blackboard   (Use your HawkID and password to log in).

    Probablistic Analysis
    Comparison based sorting

  • Advanced Design (Chapters 15 and 16 and 17)
    Dynamic Programming, Greedy Algorithms, 
    Amortized Analysis.

  • Graph Algorithms ( Chapters 23,  24, and 25).
    • Shortest Paths, All-Pairs Shortest Paths

  • NP-Completeness (Chapter 34 )
    •  Polynomial time, polynomial time verification,
    Some NP-complete problems.
